The waterproof bumblebee house with wooden construction has an inner surface of over 400 cm2. The bumblebee house in the ground is suitable for large bumblebee species such as the ground bumblebee (Bombus terrestris L.) and the garden bumblebee (Bombus hortorum). A protective flap against parasites is included.

As soon as the queen bumble bee has settled, put on the plexiglass cover and close it gradually with the pin. The bumblebees will learn to lift the flap and eventually remove the pins on the side of the opening. The protective flap increases the safety of the nest from predators and foreign intruders.
