Bumblebee Nest Filler - Bumblebee House - Filling

To fill the bumblebee nests I use tried and tested natural raw cotton (or kapok), which I supplement with a scent trail - dry moss and sheep hair. It can be supplemented with e.g. rabbit hair etc.

Filling 100% natural cotton - more than 200 g,
The quantity is sufficient - for 2 to 4 nests
(depending on the size of the bumblebee house).
Volume: approx. 15 litres (15 dm3)

Bumblebee nest fillers must be ground into small pieces (to increase the volume). Replace them with new ones in spring.

DO NOT USE SYNTHETIC FIBRES FOR THE FILLING, THE BUMBLEBEES CAN GET CAUGHT IN IT AND DIE!
