A pair of houses, hotels in the flower bed will delight not only the solitary bees that will soon settle here, but also other insects that will find many hiding places.
To make the insect hotels, we have tried to use material that has already been used - thick-walled paper tubes that are glued together. The roof is made of wooden boards - in a different colour than the tubes (orange/yellow). Painted with acrylic paint for the German environment.
The insect houses are specially designed for solitary bees, small wasps and starlings that like to stay in different cavities. Here there are bamboo stalks, drilled wooden logs and reed stalks. The cardboard tubes (reinforced with waterproof paint) have a diameter of 7 cm and 10 cm and are attached to a 4 cm wide, 70-80 cm long wooden beam. The beam is pointed at the end so that it can be rammed into the ground. The beams are painted with colour.
Sold in a set of 2.The small insect houses/hotels are, if nothing else, an invigoration or decoration in your garden.
