Larch nest box - standard

The nest box - standard is made of thick larch boards and is suitable for small and medium-sized songbirds. I usually drill a hole with a diameter of 35 mm. Write to me, I will design it according to your wishes. The birdhouse will last for many years. Just clean the original nest before winter or paint it with oil.
The nest box has an oval escape hole with a widened entrance and is suitable for most smaller songbirds. When they are outside, they like to stay at the edge of the opening and look around.

For the nesting box I used 25 mm thick boards, which I burned as a fire and then painted twice with beeswax and linseed oil. The front of the birdhouse is decorated with wire mesh.
Nesting boxes are hung on trees at a height of 3-5 m, in unoccupied places at a height of at least 2.5 m above the ground. And do not forget to clean the boxes from old nests before winter.
