The half-hollow nest box has new small improvements, a roof inclined at 5 degrees and a hinged front part. The size of the side flaps or the height of the front opening can be adjusted by arrangement (please specify in your message).
The oblong hole is only 4 cm high, the marten cannot squeeze through. Security is further increased by a reinforcing prism in the entrance.

Some bird species prefer a semi-open nesting area. This is how they breed, for example: redstart or robin.
To prevent various predators from easily getting to the nest box, it is recommended to fix the nest box to the walls of the house, shed or barn at a height of at least 2.5 metres.
The half nest box is made of durable, solid larch wood. The surface is burnt and painted with beeswax.
